If you would like to delete your ClaraWave account and associated personal data, you can submit a request at any time. ClaraWave processes all account deletion requests in accordance with Google Play policies, HIPAA-aligned privacy guidelines, and applicable state and federal regulations.
To request deletion of your account:
1. Send an email to support@clarawave.com
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
Include the following details:
- Full name
- Email or phone number associated with the account
- Whether you are a Client or Family Member
- Your care provider/agency name (if applicable)
4. We will verify your identity before processing any deletion request to protect your account and medical information.
After completing verification, ClaraWave will delete the following data:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Login credentials
- Device associations
- App activity logs
- Communication and messaging history (where applicable)
- Non-essential account preferences and settings
This information is permanently removed from ClaraWave systems within 30 days of verification.
Certain information cannot be deleted immediately because it is required by law, medical regulations, or care provider policies. This includes:
- Care visit records
- Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) data
- Caregiver notes and visit documentation
- Medicaid/Medicare billing records
- Compliance and audit logs
- Financial or payment-related records
- Legally mandated health documentation
This information is retained only as long as required for legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
Retention Period
Required medical and compliance data may be retained by care providers or ClaraWave for up to 7 years, depending on regional health regulations. All personal data not required by law is deleted within 30 days from the date your request is verified.
